Another 6am Epiphany

I'm starting to realise why the 'Hakuna Matata' philosophy doesn't work. You can't put the past behind you, everything you do is defined by it. Life is, much like this blog post, short. Though I think it needs some getting used to.

In between the snow, the rain and the cold, a lovely day was squeezed in. So I took my paraffin and played with fire. Photography by Chris Hudson.

A poem

The wind howls through window glaze,
The City lights; a distant gaze,
And as the people drift to sleep,
I sit on my bed, I blog and tweet...

Thought Overload

It has now gone 6am. Perhaps I am destined to sleep days?

Although, 'perhaps' is a rhetorical ornament and is therefore invalid. Perhaps my life is rhetorical?

...

YES!! It worked! I yawned at my self-confusion... I shall close the lid on my thoughts for another day and walk through the door of imagination into dreamland...

Bye for now x

Another thought

Every so often, I like to let my mind wonder.

I say every so often.

Everyday I let my mind wonder.

There... that's better.

Best of Twitter

Right, I have been on twitter for almost a year now and I have enjoyed watching it grow from a Stephen-Fry-monitoring site to a full blown mini-blog...

These are my favorite twitter entries so far:

1. "wanted to boost my lit poi...forgot the lighter fuel was flammable...set the jug on fire...kicked it over...set grass on fire"...12.36am November 14th

2. "james's day - 2 hours busking in London 70p and almost got arrested....50 minutes in Kingston £15 and a flyer....mwah" 6.14pm January 31st

3. "Ever wondered how easy it is to move a large sofa down a small staircase?" / "Well! all you need is a saw, a hammer, a car jack, 4 hours & 5 people jumping on it" 3.37pm February 7th

Isn't life fun?

I like sleep

It's 6am. And it looks like it's going to be a nice day. There's a pink glow on the wall of the building outside my window. It's nice. Shame I'm just going to sleep..

I hope it's still a nice day when I wake up. Better yet, I hope it's still day when I wake up.
